An Article in a Scholarly Journal (MLA 222)
Though similar to one for an article in a print periodical
[see 4.7], citiations for electronic material should include
the following information:
1. Name of the author (if given)
2. Title of the work or material (if any;
a review or a letter to the editor may be ubtitled),
in quotation marks
3. Name of the periodical (underlined)
4. Volume number, issue number, or conference (underlined)
5. Date of publication
6. The number range or total number of pages, paragraphs,
or other sections if they are numbered
7. Date of access and network address.
